School Building With Cascade Installation

During the renovation of the school building the heating system was upgraded with 2 EnerTwins operating in a cascade arrangement.

The EnerTwins provide heat for heating of the school and the adjacent gym facility. Electricity is used in the school.

Office Building

The EnerTwin is installed in a shared heating room for a 3 level office building. In this set-up, the EnerTwin is connected to a buffer vessel, which itself is connected to the main heating circuit of the building.

Multifamily houses (x5)

Each of the 5 multi family homes has its own central heating room. Both heat and electricity are used within the appartments.


Location: 5 adjacent multilevel apartment buildings, Dresden, Germany

Installation: Each of the 5 EnerTwins is installed in combination with a peak boiler and 2 buffer vessels for heating and hot tap water production

Within this office building the heat and electricity are provided and fully used within the building. The EnerTwin is supported with by a boiler for peak loads.

Multifamily home, electricity demand driven installation

The EnerTwin is operated based on electricity demand. Whenever the solar PV provides insufficient power for the apartments, the EnerTwin switches on and delivers both heat and electricity. Operation is done by modulating the system between 1-3 kWe, thus avoiding export of electricity to the grid.


Location: Multi family home, Meschede, Germany

Installation: Combined installation of solar PV, battery system, boiler, buffer vessel and EnerTwin. The EnerTwin is electricity demand driven.

Single family home with swimming pool

The EnerTwin provides sufficient heat for the house (winter) and the swimming pool (summer). Electricity is used by the owner.

The EnerTwin is separated from the main heating circuit by a plate heat exchanger, while the heat is used to heat the pool. Control is based on the temperature of the poolwater. Electricity is used in the school.

Office building with showroom

The EnerTwin provides base load heat for the office and showroom. It replaced an old boiler.
The EnerTwin is supported by airco units to handle peak demand.

The produced electricity is used for charging the electric fork lift and to provide power to the offices and showroom.
